The God of War series doesn't need to change the game play. Its already the best hack n' slash game on the market. If the graphics don't improve at all over the E3 2009 demo it doesn't matter, the game already looks better than all hack n-slash games, all 360 games and 99% of PS3 games.

Splinter Cell is going to sell more than Heavy Rain and Mass Effect 2 will sell more copies than MAG. Mass Effect 2 is probably the best 360 exclusive game that will release all year. The thing is the PS3 has 2 more exclusive releasing in the first quarter. For those of us who keep count, that is 4 vs. 2, or twice the exclusives to choose from on the PS3.

I highly doubt that Heavy Rain will do anything close to the numbers that Splinter Cell will do. If you look at what they tried to do with Heavy Rain you see that the market it is targeting is not yet proven.
Heavy Rain is designed to be truly adult content. I don't mean adolescent content. Blood and violence and cursing with maybe a few shallow sexual scenes amounts to adolescent content. I mean truly adult content, with complex situations and deep emotional relationships ...

Any one or any article that attempts to compare 360 failure rates to PS3 failure rates is attempting to distort the truth. That is because the failure rate of the 360 is so high that the machines are not even in the same league in this regard. Simply comparing them without stating that fact is lying by implication.

Halo: Reach is going to sell more it's a no-brainer. God of War III is going to look better in motion as has every other PS3 first-party exclusive.
People must not realize that Halo is the single factor that makes the Xbox platform possible. No Halo, No Xbox. No Xbox, Halo still sells 10 million copies on whatever platform it appears on.

That always happens when someone tries to fix something that isn't broken in the first place. It isn't broken to begin with; so they break it in order to fix it, and the result is something less than what they started with. Happens every time, hence the phrase.

I would say that it is profiteering if that celebrity wasn't Michael Jackson. Everything Michael Jackson did was a stunt to get publicity. His entire adult life, public and private, was one big show. For Christ's sake, he had a zoo AND an amusement park at his house. He also left most of his estate in the hands of business partners.
Making a spectacle of his death and cashing in seems like the best way to respect his wishes, and to be true to the person he was.
They should sell this bundle in the US & Europe as well, it will do well in both places.
If would have been a bad idea if they made it a 360 exclusive for free, which they originally did if you look at the code. Yeah it would not have sold as many copies, especially in Japan, but they would have gotten money from Microsoft to make up for it.

Back in the PS1 and PS2 era, Gamespot almost never gave 9's to any game. Now they give 9's to almost every decent game.
This is all Platinum's fault. If they do end up going bankrupt this will be the moment we all look back upon and say "That's where they messed up. Bayonetta is the one they let slip through their fingers."
The original code is 100% Xbox 360 exclusive material. Why didn't they sell it to Microsoft? Microsoft has been paying for 3rd party exclusives for this entire generation; it was stupid of Platinum to make a 360 exclusive for free.
